1.0 PHILOSOPHY: MINIMAL FOOTPRINT
Your operational security is paramount. This system is designed with a core philosophy of "minimal footprint." We collect only the data that is absolutely essential for the function of the network. Your personal data is not the product; your achievements are.
2.0 DATA WE COLLECT
To provision your Node and maintain your connection, we collect the following data:
- Your Callsign: Your unique, public identifier on the network.
- Your Email: Used solely for essential system communications, such as authentication, security alerts, and recovery protocols.
- Your Passkey (Hashed): We store a securely hashed version of your passkey. We never store it in plain text.
- System Cookies: We use only strictly necessary cookies to manage your session and keep you authenticated. We do not use tracking or marketing cookies.
3.0 DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data beyond what is listed above. We do not track your IP address for logging purposes, nor do we employ third-party analytics that profile your behavior.
We will never sell or share your data with third parties. Your connection to DarkWire is a private contract. The data generated from your actions belongs to your Node and your Node alone.
4.0 YOUR RIGHTS AS AN OPERATOR (GDPR)
As an Operator, you retain full control over your signal. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right to Access: You can request a machine-readable export of all data associated with your Node at any time.
- Right to Rectification: You can correct or update your contact address.
- Right to Erasure (The Right to be Forgotten): You can issue a command to decommission your Node. This will permanently and irreversibly purge your data from our active systems.
